Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using the Orbital mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

Orbital is a task and board management application that allows users to create and manage tasks, collaborate on shared boards, receive notifications, and organize their work. The Service includes all features, functionality, and content provided through the Orbital application.

To use the Service, you must create an account using a valid phone number. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Not create accounts for the purpose of abuse or fraud

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws, regulations, or third-party rights
• Upload, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, servers, or networks
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our prior written consent
• Harvest or collect information about other users without their consent

You retain ownership of the content you create within the Service, including tasks, board names, descriptions, and other materials ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

You are solely responsible for the User Content you create. We do not endorse or guarantee the accuracy of any User Content.

When you create or join a board, your display name, profile photo, and task activity are visible to other board members. By joining a board, you consent to sharing this information with other members of that board.

Board creators may invite others using invite codes. You are responsible for managing access to boards you create.

The Service, including its design, features, code, graphics, and branding, is owned by Orbital and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of any part of the Service without our prior written permission.

"Orbital" and the Orbital logo are trademarks of Orbital. You may not use these trademarks without our prior written consent.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time through the Settings screen in the app.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Orbital and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Orbital and its officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting updated Terms within the app or on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal proceedings.
